Avocet Hardware ABS Snap Secure Euro Cylinder Polished Chrome - TS007 3 Star

With door cylinder snapping on the rise, a burglar can break in through a standard door cylinder in approx 30 seconds. The Avocet ABS cylinder has built in Snap Secure technology that ensures that if the door is attacked, the cylinder snaps from the outside and blocks access to the internal mechanism of the door lock. Even after snapping it is still fully operable from the inside meaning it is also safe.

The Avocet ABS Cylinder has unique, patented technology which makes it impenetrable by snapping, bumping and picking.

ABS requires no additional security devices such as security handles or cylinder guards to prevent burglary from snapping due to the unique way it prevents access to the internal lock mechanism.

*30mm sized barrels do not have kitemark due to reduced size which limits the key combinations to below 30,000.

Measurements

You only need two measurements in order to choose the correct size lock.

The internal measurement - from the centre of the fixing screw to the edge of the door handle faceplate on the side that faces indoors

The external measurement - again; from the centre of the fixing screw to the edge of the door handle faceplate on the side that faces outside.
